As part of our continued commitment to industry research for the benefit of our clients and others, we recently sat down with six of the world’s major educational publishers to discuss some of the pertinent, recurring questions we get here about digital publishing strategies. Following on from this we’ve just published our new Education Whitepaper which contains a good summary of the key themes that came out of this discussion.
The six simple questions ranged from what publishers would have done differently to what they think schools and other learning institutions feel they need from the digital publishing space. Some key take-home points are that educational publishers are starting to develop long-term strategies and that schools are, at this point, basically sold on the benefits of digital publishing, although confusion still remains in some sectors.
