Education is something that we are very passionate about here at YUDU and this week the BBC made a small but prominent step, in showing what is happening in the classrooms of today. Only recently did we ask the question ‘which tablets are in which classrooms?’ and explored the new BYOD trend, that is hitting schools all over the globe.
The BBC published a very interesting feature, covering the Essa Academy in Bolton. All of their classrooms have been dominated by technology, which is shaping the entire learning experience. Each of the 840 pupils and teachers were issued with their own iPad, for use while in school and at home.
There has been nothing but a positive response, with Headmaster Showk Badat summing up the change perfectly – it is “natural evolution progression”.
