We’ve joined forces with the Salvation to help link their print and digital worlds to create an innovative digital publication community.
The Salvation Army has transformed their UK-based newspapers War Cry and the Salvationist into engaging, digital experiences, helping to increase the non-profit organization’s reach around the globe further than ever before.
Here’s how it works: In addition to the charity’s traditional printed publication digital subscriptions of the iconic magazines will now be sold in pubs, and on the streets of cities and towns across the U.K. Subscribers will be provided with an information card containing a unique digital code which provides access to a yearly digital subscription. Android, iPhone and tablet users can then download the free app and enter in the unique code to access their subscription. In addition, single titles and monthly subscriptions can be purchased through the app. Digital subscriptions also can be purchased directly through the app from the Apple Newsstand and through http://www.sp-s.co.uk.
