YUDU CEO discusses “The iPad Subscription Challenge” with FOLIO

Richard Stephenson, YUDU CEO & Chairman, explores the iPad Subscription Challenge in his blog for FOLIO this week.

The blog discusses the problem subscriptions have caused publishers who choose to deploy content on the iPad, “many publishers are reportedly unhappy with the lack of data Apple provides on app buyers (their readers), which makes it difficult to deliver subscriptions, and many object to the 30 percent commission Apple charges for app store sales,” he further discusses how these problems can be overcome by choosing the correct development model through a subscriptions app.
