Cunard Case Study

With over 10,000 app downloads to date as well as a high 51% opt-in registration rate the Cunard app has been phenomenally successful and they will will soon expand the from brochure to include its quarterly  Cunarder magazine.  This will allow Cunard to directly link all relevant content on its website and social media sites to create an even smoother user journey.

YUDU Listed in EContent’s Top 100 Companies in the Digital Content Industry

Mere days after YUDU were rated in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 we’ve gone and done it again, this time YUDU are listed in EContent’s Top 100 Companies in the Digital Content Industry.

The list compiled by EContent Magazine is now in its 11th year and YUDU are honoured to be featured amongst such prestigious companies as Amazon, The Guardian, Adobe, Apple and Google (to name but a few).

This year has seen a shift in focus of the companies honoured; focussing less on enterprise content and more on the world of digital publishing and media as such the judges re-imagined the list and divided it into eight categories: Content Creation, Content Commerce, Digital Content Provider, Distribution & Delivery, Social Media, Mobile Content, SEO & Search Analytics and Web Content Management. YUDU were honoured in the both the distribution & delivery and mobile content, a very proud day, we look forward to seeing how the list changes and develops over the coming year.

YUDU winners in The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA

Virgin Holidays Case Study

Virgin Holidays have had an incredibly successful journey using YUDU’s technology; from 2009 when they produced their first 11 online brochures which received 57,000 views and built an opt in database of 22,000 in just a matter of months to 2011 where, in less than a year their app has received more than 65,000 downloads. Digital Magazine Awards 2011

The deadline for submissions to the 2011 Digital Magazine awards is fast approaching, with less than 24 hours before the deadline.

If you’re feeling particularly chuffed with your digital magazine edition and think a select judging panel will feel the same, make sure you get you entries in ASAP before the entry door is slammed firmly shut and a shredder is pressed against the letterbox from the inside (figuratively speaking)…

Entry to the competition can be competed through this very link, where the applicant can choose from a plethora of categories to enter.

YUDU created editions have had previous success at this ceremony, with both DJ Magazine and Better Photography being awarded a bronze award.

For the positive publicity and general seal of approval this award can bring, we’d say its definitely worth a punt. So for any interested parties be sure to get your entries in sharpish, as there remains only next 19 hours 25minutes and 32 seconds to submit your entrance forms.

PPA Awards

Wednesday night saw the crème de la crème of the magazine industry descend on the Grosvenor House Hotel for the Annual PPA Awards, the most coveted awards in the industry, showcasing excellence, rewarding innovation and a chance to have good old knees up!

The Awards was hosted by comedian Kevin Bridges who did a great job of keeping everyone entertained. Winkler, best known as Arthur ‘The Fonz’ Fonzarelli in Happy Days also made a surprise appearance and encouraged the audience to donate to the event’s two chose industry charities: Mag Aid and the NewstrAid Benevolent Fund.

YUDU sponsered the Digital Product of the Year (Consumer Media) which was one by BBCGoodFood.com, congratulations to them and all of the worthy titles who were shortlisted in the category.

Success at the Media Momentum Awards 2011

Reflecting what has been another great year for YUDU Media, we have once again been awarded a place in the prestigious Top 50 fastest growing digital media companies in Europe, at the Media Momentum awards 2011. It’s the second time YUDU have been included in the Media Momentum Top 50.

Taking place in Barcelona last night, the ceremony honoured the most innovative and fastest-growing digital media companies across Europe. With such a large field of entrants considered, it is no mean feat to make it into this crop of finalists.

Manish Madhavani, founding partner of event organisers GP Bullhound, said “YUDU continued its hot streak in 2010 in terms of revenue growth. It’s an exciting time for the Digital Media industry, and YUDU is right at the heart of the action.”
